It has a pair of working speakers that actually sound surprisingly good! It would make a great gaming chair or just as a place to enjoy music or podcasts. We have created brand new, comfy cushions and installed a Bluetooth amplifier. All you need to do is plug it in, connect your smart phone via Bluetooth, sit back, and chill out!This chair was produced by Venture Line in Akron, Ohio, which is where our physical store is located! We actively search out these chairs and bring them back to their hometown to be refurbished. The designer is Roger L. Gerber, who designed an entire line of similar furniture. We personally know his ex-wife, who was married to him while these chairs were being made in the 70s. Roger now lives in Chicago.This chair is in great vintage condition. We have cleaned the white plastic. The custom cushions are new materials. There may be some minor scuffs, but nothing too distracting. 1960s Egg Chair
A stylish and comfortable 1960s vintage egg chair. It has a white ovoid fiberglass body, a red faux fur lining to the interior, and a silver tone metal base, on which the chair can rotate. The interior features a light at the top, stereo speakers at either side, and three small throw pillows. The light was in working condition at the time of cataloging; the speakers could not be tested, as they use speaker wires which need to be spliced to a sound system.
