SIT
The chairs offer well-balanced comfort that’s equally suited to sitting up for book club or lounging for moving night. Seats and backs relate at logical angles and are neither too upright nor too reclined. Seat depth and height are moderate and fit both shorter legs and longer ones. Arm pads are set at just the ri
ght level to comfortably meet the forearm.
The chairs have their original innerspring cushions, so they sit and fit exactly as originally designed. (Innerspring cushions can be tricky to reupholster, so they’re missing on many vintage pieces like these, having been thrown out and replaced with standard foam cushions by upholsterers taking the easy route.)
