This is a one of a kind, handmade, handpainted piece, that you won’t find anywhere else! As a mother of a young toddler, potty training seemed daunting! I purchased two store bought potty chairs and promptly returned them and decided to build one. The store bought potties were lightweight, plastic, cheap, and simply wouldn’t do for my little prince. Some manufactured potties have cushions treated with chemicals and buttons or guards that can cause your little one to get stuck or pinched, making the potty a scary thing! It is my opinion that music, whistles, and sensors don’t belong on a child’s potty. This is a back-to-basics, all natural, wooden piece of furniture. You can rest assured that this will stand the test of time and become a family heirloom. Solid, heavy, sturdy, and smooth. The bowl is stainless steel (which some might choose to clean in the dishwasher!) and easily slides out from the back of the chair for emptying and cleaning. Most store bought chairs have bowls that the toddler can actually lift up and out which is not conducive to potty training or sanitary bathroom practices. The wood is pine and 1“ thick. All of the edges are rounded, sanded, and smoothed to perfection. This piece is held together with screws which are covered with wooden buttons and glued in place to prevent prying hands from removing them. The piece is finished with several layers of water based Polycrylic, and can easily be wiped down for cleaning. I will hand-paint whatever your heart desires on the backrest of the potty chair. My son is enamored with the moon and stars so that is what I chose to paint for him. Does your son/daughter like fire trucks?🚒 Or horses?🐴 Or dinosaurs?🦕 Or doggies?🐕 Or lizards?🦎 Or flowers? 🌺 Whatever you can think of I will carefully and lovingly paint in acrylics. I can also personalize the potty with your son’s/daughter’s name or a saying, phrase, or favorite quote from their favorite book. If you’d like me to write a message from you to your little one on the bottom or back of the potty, I can do that too! Dimensions are as follows: Overall dimensions are 14” wide x 12” deep x 15” high The seat measures 12” wide x 10” deep The backrest measures 12” wide x 8” high Stainless steel bowl measures 5” in diameter and 4” deep The seat is 7” high off of the ground If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to send me a message.
