Pair of 19th century English children’s chairs. This pair of antique English chairs feature cane seat and backs with curvy teak wood frames. The carved teak arms curl into scrolled knuckles. The legs are designed of two c-shaped pieces, supported by a beautifully turned front and rear stretchers. There are carved fan shaped decorations at the front and rear seat rails. Beautiful, solid and comfortable, this Mid-Century channel back arm chair has very attractive aesthetics with rich colors of red, green and gold accented with green piping and red tacks. The frame is in original condition with curved wooden arms and spring and burlap support. The gentle sweeping lines of the curved back make this chair a unique addition to any room.
